MICHELLE MARSHALL FOUNDER

I built the support I couldn't find when I needed it.

I'm an integrative practitioner with professional training across nutrition, movement, massage and lifestyle health.

I'm also a woman who has lived through breast cancer myself.

The Breast Cancer Lounge brings those two worlds together.

Why The Breast Cancer Lounge Exists

On 27 February 2026, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

What followed was a blur of scans, surgery, results, decisions, waiting, a BRCA2 diagnosis, a double mastectomy, followed quickly by a bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy with a total hysterectomy.

I have a wonderful medical team, but I quickly discovered how much of breast cancer happens outside the appointments.

The food questions. The fear. Changes to your body. Knowing when and how to move again. Trying to make sense of conflicting information. And eventually, working out how to live well after treatment.

That is the space I wanted to create.

Professional knowledge. Lived experience.

I bridge the gap between clinical appointments and daily living with practical, evidence-informed support for the whole person alongside your medical team.

A little more about me

Nature lover

Happiest outdoors, exploring beaches, trails and anywhere a little wild.

Perpetual bookworm

Always reading something, usually with another 300 books waiting.

Eternal student

If there’s something new to learn, chances are I’ll sign up for it.

Experimental cook

Rarely follows a recipe. Occasionally creates something brilliant. Can never recreate it.

If you are here because breast cancer has turned your world upside down, I hope this space helps you feel a little more held, a little more informed and a little less alone.
