The Breast Cancer Lounge
A new private online community for women living through
breast cancer and beyond.
Created for the part of breast cancer that happens outside the appointments.
The Breast Cancer Lounge is an online breast cancer support community where women can access trusted information, practical support and real conversations to help make sense of treatment recovery and everyday life.
Why the Lounge exists
Breast cancer does not just happen in the consult room. It happens in the spaces between scans, treatments and follow-up appointments. It shows up in the questions that do not always get asked, the parts nobody really prepares you for and the everyday realities of trying to keep living while everything feels different.
The Lounge was created to support that part of the experience with calm, evidence-informed guidance, thoughtful conversation and a community of women who understand what this season can feel like.
Everything inside is designed to work alongside your medical team, giving you a place to learn, connect and feel supported from wherever you are in your breast cancer experience.
What's inside this new community
Inside The Lounge, you will find:
-
trusted information in plain language
-
practical support for treatment, recovery and survivorship
-
gentle guidance around nutrition, movement, rest and wellbeing
-
dedicated spaces to ask questions, connect and read along quietly if that feels better
-
a community that understands the everyday realities of breast cancer
You do not need to use everything at once. You can simply begin with the support that feels most relevant to you right now.
The community
Alongside the classroom-style content, there is a live community forum where real conversation happens. Think of it as a warm, private space to post, ask questions, share what is on your mind, or simply read what other women are going through.
The forum is organised into chats that match the classroom topics, along with shared spaces such as updates and general discussion. There is no pressure to post. Some women contribute every day, and others read quietly for weeks. Both are completely welcome.
Your rooms
Every woman’s experience of breast cancer is different. Some are looking for support with food and energy. Others are trying to improve sleep, rebuild strength, understand treatment side effects, or simply feel less alone.
The Lounge is organised into dedicated spaces so you can begin wherever you need support most.
